Rockets Top Hornetseport: Post Game Report (VIDEO)
Kemba Walker scored 35 points but it wasn't enough for the Hornets who fell to the Houston Rockets, 118-113. Tonight's loss puts the Hornets in a precarious situation in terms of playoff positioning. Charlotte is clinging to a one-half game lead over the Orlando Magic for the eighth and final playoff spot. Charlotte finished its homestand at 1-3.

3rd QT - Marvin Williams made a big three-pointer as time elapsed in the quarter to give the Hornets a four point lead. Houston won the quarter in terms of scoring (28-25) James Harden has 24 points and Kemba Walker has 30 points. Charlotte is shooting the three-ball effectively tonight which is one of the main reasons they have a lead. This game has featured nine leads and four ties. (94-90 CHA)
4th QT - The Rockets went on a short run (5-0) to take a lead just two minutes into the quarter. James Harden is 1-11 from downtown but the Rockets managed to take the lead early in this period thanks to a strong performance by Clint Capela and the leadership of Chris Paul. Nic Batum seemed very hesitant to shoot the ball down the stretch which directly resulted in at least one turnover. Houston has held Kemba in check this half (8 points). Walker missed a three-pointer with 14.6 seconds that would have tied it. The Hornets were 1-3 on this four game homestand. (FINAL 118-113 HOUSTON)
