Jason Nwora's Big Night Ends Tourney Hopes for Louisville

CHARLOTTE--Notre Dame's TJ Gibbs got off to a good start with a twelve point effort by the end of the first half. But the Irish had no answer for Louisville's Jordan Nwora who rustled up 12 points before the ten minute mark of the period - 16 by the half. Going into the half Notre Dame shot only 22.6 % from the field on 7-33 shooting while Louisville was 12-34 for 35.3 % from field goal range.

AT THE HALF: Notre Dame 25 Louisville 34

Nwora added 8 more points for a 24 point performance on the night. And despite 21 points from TJ Gibbs, the poor shooting performance by the Irish shut down any chances of a comeback for Notre Dame.
