Carolina Panthers Thursday Injury Update

With a host of their star talent on injured reserve and a hefty injury list, the Carolina Panthers are in a battle to get a sense of normalcy heading into the matchup with the Detroit Lions this Sunday. But the team did get a glimmer of hope regarding one of those names related to the offensive line. right guard Austin Corbett was released from the PUP list and on Wednesday was a limited participant in practice.

Corbett suffered an ACL injury that required surgery during the final game of the 2022 season and has worked his way back since that time and believes he's trending toward being back soon. "Everyone who's playing has had six weeks of camp, four weeks of the season at this point and so they banked those ten weeks and they're in football shape ...I'm trying to do it right now," Corbett said.

"It's gonna make me have to adjust real quick and get back to it but I've played plenty of football and I know what i'm doing."
