August 24, 2021 – Tuesday the Charlotte Hornets announced that the organization has signed a multiyear contract extension with guard Terry Rozier. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. But ESPN has reported the deal to be a four-year extension worth $97 million.
During the 2020-21 season Rozier averaged a career best 20.4 points per game and 4.2 assists. He also shot over 38% from three point range.
The six-year veteran finished the season with three games of 40 points or more, making him just the fourth player in team history to have three or more 40-point performances in a single season.
