Indian Trail, NC Celebrates Artificial Turf Field Grand Opening with the Carolina Panthers
On Monday night the town of Indian Trail, NC celebrated the grand opening of its new artificial turf field along with its community partner the Carolina Panthers. The ceremony included remarks from local officials and a ribbon cutting.
The event also included a ceremonial check presentation which represented the $250,000 grant given to the town by the Carolina Panthers through the National Football League Foundation Grassroots Program.
The grant, also supported by the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), is part of a $3 million nationwide field refurbishment program. The town was the only municipality in the Charlotte metropolitan area to receive this prestigious
